The Information Technology program is a hands-on learning experience. This program prepares graduates for entry and advancement in the field of wide area and local area network technologies. Additional curriculum topics include alternative operating systems, messaging and communications services, database management, security concepts, and internetwork connectivity.
The Information Technology program will prepare candidates with the core knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for the CompTIA certification exams for A+ / Network+ and the Microsoft certification exams for MCP / MCTS / MCITP.
Entry level positions for network administrator, field support specialist, help desk technician, inside sales account executive, technical sales support.
