EDUCATION
is one of the most important
investments an individual
will make in his or her
lifetime. At FastTrain we
strive to make your
education highly accessible.
Our financial aid advisors
are here to help you.
Financial assistance is
available for all campuses
and all programs. Financial
aid can be in the form of
grants, scholarships,
federal student loans and/or
private student loans. Not
all programs offered by the
institution are approved for
Title IV federal aid. Not
all campuses are approved
for Title IV federal
financial aid. Please check
with your financial aid
advisors to determine which
programs and which campuses
qualify for which aid.
Forms of Financial Aid:
-
Grants
An example would be the
Federal Pell Grant. This
is money that is applied
to your cost of education
which does not have to be
paid back. Pell Grants are
awarded on a need basis.
-
Scholarships
Is money that is applied
to your cost of education
that does not have to be
paid back. Scholarships
are awarded by private
organizations, companies,
state agencies, etc.
Financial Aid Advisors
will assist you in finding
applicable scholarships.
-
Federal
Loans
This is money that is
applied to your cost of
education. These monies
are loans that must be
paid back. Typically
these loans are low
interest loans which have
generous repayment terms.
-
Private
Loans
This is money that is
applied to your cost of
education. These monies
are loans that must be
paid back. Typically these
loans are career loans
that are credit based.
How
will I pay for my education?
Once you have enrolled the
financial aid advisor will
review the options.
Typically a student will
have a financial “package.”
The package may consist of
grants, scholarships,
federal loans and private
loans.
How
much financial assistance
will I receive?
Your financial aid advisor
will assist you determining
what you actually qualify
for. Remember each
individual is different.
