MICROSOFT Certification for Microsoft Project

Microsoft® Project is the newest desktop certification offered in the Microsoft Office  Specialist program. Becoming certified enables users of Microsoft Project and its companion application, Microsoft Project Central, to demonstrate their advanced knowledge and skills.

As with the Microsoft Office Specialist certification for Microsoft Office applications, the Microsoft Project certification requires the successful completion of one or more performance–based, certification examinations. These exams are prepared by experts and are designed to assess the individual's ability to use Microsoft Project’s many organizational, collaborative, and labor–saving features while working in a "live" environment. Microsoft Office Specialist certifications are not intended to be substitutes for the methodological certifications offered by professional, project management organizations. Rather, they exist as measurement of an individual’s ability to productively use a "tool–of–the–trade."
