Diploma Program

Overview.
The Medical Assistant program will prepare and allow an individual to demonstrate the skills necessary to be a successful Medical Assistant. Upon completion of the program, the student will possess the knowledge and skills needed to function successfully as an entry level medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office. Students will focus on anatomy, physiology and pathology of the various body systems as well as medical front-office / back-office skills, laboratory and diagnostic procedures.

The Medical Assistant program will prepare candidates with the core knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for the national medical assistant exam.

MEDICAL CODING PROFESSIONAL
Diploma Program

The Medical Coding Professional program is designed to prepare the student for entry-level employment as a medical office administrator in physician offices, clinics, and hospitals.

The Medical Coding Professional program will prepare candidates with the core knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) certification exam Certified Coding Associate (CCA).

Entry level positions for medical office administrator, medical coding, medical billing, medical record abstractor, medical office, insurance verification/claims and medical collections.
